Upholstered Shop Sign – Elegance Upholstery on 2nd Ave N

When we moved our shop to 2nd Avenue North in Lethbridge, we wanted a sign that reflected what we do best — craftsmanship, creativity, and upholstery. So instead of simple painted lettering, we decided to upholster the entire sign. The 16’ x 4’ face was built from plywood, painted deep purple, and fitted with raised, upholstered lettering in marine-grade vinyl — durable enough for Alberta’s weather and unmistakably “us.”

The sign turned out beautifully, even if it’s currently enjoying life at ground level. Though we had hoped to mount it proudly on the building, it seems our sign has chosen to take a more “down-to-earth” approach for now. We like to think it adds character — a quiet reminder that in small business, there’s always a story behind the sign.
