We designed and built this soft top completely from scratch—no original pattern, no previous top, just an open roof with bare crossbars.
The frame was fitted with an awning rail at the front, allowing the sewn-in awning welt to slide in cleanly and hold tension. The sides and rear are secured with high-quality marine-grade snap buttons. The top is made from premium, UV- and weather-resistant fabric and finished with reinforced edges and precise double topstitching for both strength and appearance.
Every stitch was done using UV-resistant thread to ensure long-lasting durability, even under harsh sunlight. The result is a clean, functional, removable soft top that looks like it belongs on this beautifully restored hot rod.
